The Five Vital Skills
Communicatie

Samenwerking
Does your student work towards consensus, helping draw input from teammates? Do they dig deeper into the ideas of others with clarifying questions?
Creativiteit
Is your student always willing to try new things? Are they willing to try and fail as a way of getting valuable feedback?
Kritisch denken
Does your student apply emotional intelligence and probing questions to new situations? Do they understand what make evidence credible and relevant?
Culturele intelligentie
Does your student actively engage with people who have different worldviews with respect and curiosity? Are they able to diffuse tension when diverse ideas are shared?
How It Works:
The ICC Readiness Assessment will help you determine how your student’s development is progressing in each of the five vital skills, and the resulting Readiness Report will provide insight on where to focus next.
Each section was developed by experts in the vital skills, those who have coached and taught thousands of students in these competencies.
We welcome you to complete the assessment for all your students – there’s no limit to this free tool! Please note that the assessment was developed with middle school and high school students in mind, and your report will consist of suggestions appropriate for that age group.
